Vision Statement

The Center for the Advancement of Research and Education in Information Assurance (CARE-IA) at RIT strives to provide the leadership for information Assurance education and research to provide creative and innovative educational and research experience, to promote collaboration between colleges, government and Industry in IA research, training, and curriculum development.

Mission Statement

The mission of the RIT CARE-IA is to promote advanced education and research in the theoretical principles and best practices underlying computer and network security, digital forensics, and information assurance. In particular, CARE-IA outreaches to minority serving institutions and community colleges in the development of the IA curriculum. CARE-IA facilitates collaboration with other institutions and industry and foster experience in undergraduate research.
